Time to start going shopping for some new rain boots! And I’m mainly talking to myself haha But seriously we can start preparing for some rain 🙂 Last year I made little rain booties and I’m excited to say I added two extra sizes to my Pattern so now it includes 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12 month old babies 🙂 You can grab the pattern here on Etsy or here on Craftsy.
With the Rain Booties I got silly and created the Puddle just for fun and would like to share it with you for free 🙂
What will you need:
Crochet Hook: H/5mm
Yarn
Any medium weight yarn.

Puddle
The Puddle is worked in a continuous round, do not join or turn. I recommend placing a stitch marker on the first st of the second round, or stringing a different color of yarn, and move it up as the work progresses so you can remember when you finished working a round.
Rnd 1: ch 3, 10 dc in first ch. (10 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 dc in each of next 10 sts. (20 sts)
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, 1 dc in next st, rep from * 9 more times. (30 sts)
Rnd 4: *2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * 9 more times. (40 sts)
Rnd 5: *2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * 9 more times. (50 sts)
Rnd 6: *2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * 9 more times. (60 sts)
Rnd 7: *2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 5 sts, rep from * 9 more times. (70 sts)
Rnd 8: *1 hdc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st, 2 tr in next st, 2 dc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 4dtr in next st, 1 tr in next st, 2 dc in next st, rep from * 6 more times, join with a Sl st to first st. (126 sts)
Fasten off; weave in ends.
You can either Block the piece or press down with your hands for it to stay flat.
Water Drops (Make 3)
ch 7, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 tr in next ch, 1 dc in next ch, 1 hdc in last ch, Sl st. Fasten off; weave in ends.
