For this loving holiday I bring you a free pattern for a hearts Brooch. You can Make these in any color you’d like and use them as aplique’s in your art projects.
Skill level: Fun and Easy 🙂
What will you need:
Hook: 4mm/G
Hot Glue.
Glue gun.
Brooch 3″ long.
Yarn: Small amounts of any color yarn. I used RED HEART® “Super Saver®”
- 1701 Hot Pink – COLOR A
- 0722 Pretty ‘N Pink – COLOR B

Instructions
Small Flower (Make 2)
Foundation Round: With color A, ch 5, Sl st to first ch.
Rnd 1: (1 hdc, 4 dc, ch 1, 4 dc, Sl st) in ring. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Large Flower (Make 2)
Foundation Round: With color B, ch 5, Sl st to first ch.
Rnd 1: (1 hdc, 4 dc, ch 1, 4 dc, Sl st) in ring.
Rnd 2: ch 2, 1 hdc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 2 dc in each of next 3 sts, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in ch space, 2 dc in each of next 4 sts, Sl st to next space. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Glue the Large heart in the center of the brooch and then the too smaller hearts by it’s sides.
